The Silent Dinner Party

As part of the Sydney Fringe Festival I had the honour of working with Honi at one of her socially curious projects, The Silent Dinners. This performance project was one of the most fascinating social experiments I have seen in a long time and I strongly urge anyone who happens to be in one of the 15 cities that Honi has hosted this project to attend if given the opportunity. By removing one of the most ingrained social rules of a dinner party, talking, the guests delve into the most animated and creative movements of charades, developing their own of way communicating and finding any means possible to continue the conversation in relative silence.
